A colorist pur sang, Saskia Bremer in the art world known. She divides her time between its studios in Portugal and Netherlands. Many Mediterranean titles bear witness to her love for warm and sunny Europe: Jardim do Vale, Medronheira and Tres Flores. The optimism that radiates her work, brightness and warm colour scheme, being such aspects that endear Saskia Bremer's work to a wide audience. Saskia Bremer begins her artist's existence in a remarkable late moment in her life. Until the mid-1990s she ends a long career in education in order to be able to focus on the art. She has already a variety of evening courses and trained at the Royal Academy of fine arts in the Hague. Once wrested the strict standards and rules of the Academy, she begins to develop her own style. Spontaneity and intuition are the important pillars.
