Biography of Ron van der Werf

Who lives without internal images, without imagination, without the sensitivity that one needs to associate thoughts themselves will see nothing at all. Ron van der Werf paints with acrylic and oil on canvas, Panel and paper; often supplemented with chalk, pencil, textiles and cardboard. Ron works with many whites who pass into Brown or blue variants, Glacé in skinning ochre, sienna and other nature. He works from inner strength, a commitment to certain types, opposites and colours, to a certain material and only after he has transferred these on the canvas they let him see what he actually wants. His work is close to the music, the most abstract art form. Material, color and composition radiate a calm that pleasant and powerful. The area is characterized by unit. It is the result of a continuous search and scan limits from a concentration and enthusiasm which has led to exhibitions in Holland and abroad. His paintings are included in various private and corporate collections in Poland, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland and Argentina.
