Raquel Maulwurf now has a decent record by. This is evidenced by the list of solo and group exhibitions in Tokyo, London, Milan, Berlin and São Paulo.
In 1997 she completed her studies at the HKA in Arnhem and works since then into a murderous pace to an extensive body of work that from different series. If they could keep it full would Maulwurf twenty four hours a day working, because as she says: "we can take a rest in the grave."
Passion, fanaticism and brings Maulwurf to great heights in her work. Her drive and talent find applause at museums, collectors and corporate collections that have become a large part of her drawings. In 2006 she was nominated for the Mary Razzano Prize for young artists, Museo del Sannio Benevento Rocca dei Rettori (Naples). Her work is included in the Viewing Program at the Drawing Center in New York.
At Maulwurf are the discipline signs and the subject of her work her main instruments. Her work stems from her fascination with the human urge to destruction of oneself, the other and its surroundings. The drawings makes Raquel on different carriers such as paper, cardboard, cloth and mat on the wall.
The work of Maulwurf was featured in a large number of solo and group exhibitions in Tokyo, London, Milan and Berlin. In the Netherlands showed Stedelijk Museum Schiedam in 2007 a number of works from the series Trümmerfelder in the exhibition ' Drawn to destruction '.
Maulwurf received in 2002 the chart price and was nominated in 2006 for the Mario Razzano Prize for young artists.
