Biography of Peter Meijer

Peter Meijer (born 1953) followed from 1974 to 1979 the Academy of fine arts in Arnhem. After some years he was employed as a teacher of drawing and art history until he went to the painting. The starting point and the motivation to paint are for Peter Macdonald (1953) always remained strong over the years. Searching for an equivalent in form, image and colour for the emotions and the impressions that everyday reality at him calls, remains the same.
