Biography of Peter Klashorst

Visual artist Peter Klashorst (1957) acquired after graduating in 1981 on the Amsterdam Rietveld Academy soon fame. As co-initiator of the artists collective ' After Nature ' gave a new impulse to the Klashorst Dutch art history. ' After Nature ' resisted the prevailing abstract expressionism and made furore in the eighties and nineties with an innovative figurative painting style. For his pioneering work and unique own style acquired Klashorst already different prices. He exhibits frequent at home and abroad. His passion for painting has not stop him also with other art forms. So plays Peter Klashorst guitar in the rock band Soviet Sex and hosted several television programs.
