Paul Huf (1924-2002) was for many years the ' figurehead ' of Dutch photography. He is a pioneer in the development of professional photography. He made both staged studio pictures, glamour portraits, advertising campaigns and glossy fashion photography. Hufs photos are glamorous and have a hurry UN-Dutch allure. Because of the way he managed to capture his subjects, he is also called the ' sculptor ' under the photographers. In the 1950s, Huf known for his Queen Juliana and Prince Bernard portrayed.

The Rijksmuseum has a purchase Fund named after him, the Paul Huf Fund. There are two photography Awards named after him, the Foam Paul Huf Award ' and the ' big Paul '.
