Biography of Mareike Geys

Mareike Geys, born in 1945 in Rotterdam, has a great passion for painting and drawing. Because they all wanted to be like artist from an early age, she studied from 1963 to 1965 at the free Academy in the Hague, where she specialized in model drawing. She has studied with Ateliers ' 63 in Haarlem, where she studied with and guidance from experienced artists such as Lataster and Pierre van Soest. Geys lives and works alternatively in Netherlands and France.

The oeuvre of Geys consists of paintings and drawings with watercolor, oil and acrylic paint.
