Biography of George Heidweiller
George Heidweiller (beverwijk, 15 May 1963) is a Dutch artist. Heidweiller grew largely on outside New York, Curacao and the Netherlands in Suriname before the family returned to Netherlands. He began in 1981 to his studies at the Royal Academy of art in the Hague. After completing his training he settled in Amsterdam. In addition to his own work, he assisted Herman Brood in his project of painting of tram line 2 in order of Fame. He has designed his merchandising for Marco Borsato and he has designed for clothing brand ART 4 Use. Today his work is best known for the cityscapes. Through various techniques he makes paintings of imaginary cities.
