Biography of Chabab Tayefeh Mohajer

Chabab Tayefeh Mohajer (Teheran, Iran 1951) started as a youth with painting in Tehran and followed art training in France. Since 1987 he lives and works in Amsterdam. Chahab combines two arts, etching and calligraphy. This results in images with a wonderful magic load. We often see fossils or birds surrounded by strange unreadable characters. He painted the etching plate again with hard material, so that a double relief. Very special work.
