Biography of Astrid Engels

Astrid Engels (1942) is only at a later age start painting. After her secondary education, she studied Italian. As an artist she is self-taught. She has done a lot of television work first. She is there on a wondrous way play rolled by as a young woman participating in a quiz of Theo Eerdmans, namely "Tel from your winnings". Astrid Engels won those quiz with ancient Egypt as the subject and the specialization Tutankhamun. After her television work, she has set up its own public relations office. Only in 1986, after English had sold her Office, she is heavily be concentrating on painting. Almost as saying came images of antiquity, the great passion of Astrid Engels, facing up. Besides painting she made many trips to places where the remains of the ancient civilization such as Italy, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, and a dozen other countries.
